On July 30th St Paul’s hosted the quarterly Ecumenical service by Churches Together in Sale.
During the service the War Memorial Plaque from the now demolished Evangelical Church in Kelsall Street was welcomed into Church and re-dedicated.

The service was attended by many local dignitaries including our Mayor, Cllr Jonathan Coupe & the Mayoress, Mrs Diane Coupe, our local Councillor, Jane Baugh, and other Sale members of the corporation.
The service was followed by strawberries and champagne.
The photos below were taken during the evening.
On 9th July there was an afternoon tea held in the Church grounds and attended by about 60 persons. The photo below was taken at the event.
Later there was a Concert as part of the Music before Evensong series.

After a miserable week of weather the rains stopped on June 29th to allow 21 members and friends to take part in our annual bowling match, held again this year at the Linden Club in Sale.
The winner was last year’s runner-up Gary and this years runner-up was Mark. Photos taken at the event appear below.
We are continuing with our Concerts on Sunday afternoons before Evensong. Details of our next concert appear below.

A beautiful service held in memory of all those who were effected by the horrible events of Monday night in Manchester.
We have pinned bees and doves with prayers on the back. Symbolising the spirit of Manchester and humanity as a whole.
Everyone is welcome to come between 9am – 6pm to write a prayer on the back of a dove or Manchester bee 🐝 and pin to the white sheet and take the opportunity to pray for ‘thy kingdom come’.
