Details of coming Services
On Sunday 19th June St Paul’s will be hosting a Civic Commemoration Service for the
40th Anniversary of the Falklands War during our normal time slot of 10am. This will take the form of
a Service of the Word with prayers, hymns, music and readings and will be around 40-50 minutes.
We will be joined by cadets and members of the Armed Forces from the local area who will be
processing to the Town Hall after the service to lay wreaths at the War Memorial. Springfield Rd will
be closed during this time, although there will be access to the church car-park via Sibson Rd.
All are welcome to attend and there will be an area of the church designated for church members as
well as reserved seating for cadets and those taking part.
If you are able to help with stewarding, welcoming and car-parking please have a chat with Vicar
Becky and the Church Wardens.
