Carols by Candlelight
St Paul’s hosted our annual Carols by Candlelight Service on Dec 21st. A large congregation was in attendance and were treated to several carols by the Choir as well as the traditional 9 Lessons and festive readings. The congregation joined in with carols, the last two with lighted candles.

Tree Festival
St Paul’s hosted our annual Christmas Tree Festival on the weekend 5th-7th Dec. The trees were supplied and decorated by many organisations and societies. Music was provided by several musicians, choirs and bands over the three days. Refreshments, childrens games and crafts were available together with a large raffle. A Father Christmas Grotto was also available when booked in advance. Photos taken during the weekend are shown in the slideshow below :-

Remembrance Sunday
St Paul’s once again played a part in the annual Remembrance service at Sale Town Hall. The parade assembled outside Church before marching to the Cenotaph and Becky and Donald were part of the service leaders on the Town Hall steps.

Coming Events in November and December
The posters below show events at St Paul’s during the next two months.
As in the last two years the Christmas Tree Festival gives local organisations, clubs and shops the opportunity to promote themselves alongside a Christmas tree during the Festival weekend from Friday 5th to Sunday 7th December.

Harvest Festival
Our Harvest Festival service was held on Oct 5th where we were joined by Springfield School Choir.
A large congregation enjoyed two songs by the Springfield Choir and the theme of the service was WaterAid with the collection going to this charity. A considerable amount of Harvest gifts were presented and will be distributed to local foodbanks and the Mustard Tree charity.
