As usual St Paul’s was involved in the annual Service of Remembrance at Sale Town Hall and War Memorial. Following a Service in Church, the Choirs of St Paul’s and St Joseph’s led a procession to the Town Hall. Becky, Michael, Frank and Donald all took a part in the Service. Following on from our successful trial we are announcing another date for Soup Sunday- this time we are hosting a gathering on Sunday 20th November in the Church Hall from 12noon onwards. Takeaway soup is available too.

9 members went for a meal at the Legh Arms in Sale Moor on Nov 3rd. This was in place of our usual September Farmhouse supper evening which had to be postponed for various reasons. An excellent night ended at 9:45pm and as well as being earlier than usual there was no washing up afterwards. The photo below was taken during the evening

Our Service at 6pm on Oct 30th will be to remember our loved ones. Please bring a flower along to the Service in memory of a loved one. If you would like a name reading out please add the name to the sheet at the back of Church or contact the Vicar or Wardens.

From 12noon to 2:15pm in the Hall there is to be a “Soup Sunday” with details to be found under the What’s On – Church Hall heading.
