Donations

It costs the local church congregation just over a £1,000 a week to keep St Paul’s maintained and to cover basic costs such as insurance and utility bills.

We have just over 60 church members that give regular financial contributions to cover the cost of maintaining the church building and our Parish Share payments which include financing the part-time Vicar’s post and covering the cost of ministry.

St Paul’s raises monies by holding its own fundraising events and by hiring out the Church Hall to local groups and organisations.

As well as Sunday services, St Paul’s also cares for people in different circumstances and runs a pre-school group, Community choir and Tuesday fellowship group. We also support folks through our Pantry shelves and ‘Kitchen’ project (Oct 25) to enable those without access to a kitchen to make home-cooked meals.

If you’re able to help whether with a ‘one-off’ donation or a regular gift, we are very thankful.

We have a digital giving machine at the back of church for ‘one-off’ card donations.

If you are able to set up a standing order you can then make a regular contribution to St Paul’s. Please get in touch with us for our account information.
