A group from St Paul’s attended the Archdeacon’s Visitation at St Mary Magdalene, Ashton Upon Mersey on June 16th. This annual service is for Churchwardens to present their paperwork and for Sidepersons to sign the register. Apart from St Mary’s, the St Paul’s contingent was one of the largest present. The photo below was taken by Becky of some of the St Paul’s group who attended.

Donations for Christian Aid

St Paul’s hosted the 80th Anniversary of VE-Day Commemoration service on 11th May in partnership with Trafford Council.

The Mayor of Trafford Cllr Amy Whyte was in attendance along with other local councillors, veterans, cadet groups and a visiting choir.

There were Readings, Hymns, Prayers and the Lighting of the Peace-lamp. After the service refreshments were served in the Church Hall.
