The Christmas tree has been erected in Church ready for the Toy Service on Dec 8th by members of the Men’s Society. The photos below show the tree and also the Men’s Society tree for one of the window alcoves.


The 900 bulbs presented to St Paul’s as part of the Purple for Polio campaign have now been planted as shown in the photos below.


Watch this space in Spring when the results should be seen by all who come into the Church grounds from the canal bank.
After the 10:00am service at St Paul’s on Nov 10th the choir and congregation departed for the Cenotaph. The photos below were taken during the morning.

On Oct 31st the Men’s Society held their annual farmhouse supper and the photos below were taken during the event


St Paul’s was illuminated on Oct 24th for World Polio Day joining other prominent buildings in Purple for Polio. The photo below shows the effect.

On Sunday morning Oct 19th, St Paul’s held the annual Harvest Festival service. We were joined by the choir from Springfield Road school and the Brownies. Harvest gifts had been collected before and during the service and these will be distributed to various charities. After the service there was a Bring and Share lunch in the Church hall. The photos below were taken on the day.
