As part of the Sale Festival St Paul’s hosted Foundation Day – Sale Through Time sponsored by the Manchester School of Architecture.

Photos of old Sale were on display together with Lego workshops to build models of James Joule experiments. Lego models of other historical scientific items were also on display.

Music was provided by the Sale Brass Community Band and the saxophonist David Sotunde.

Refreshments were provided in the Hall and other organisations had displays in the Church grounds. Tower Tours were also available during the day. The photos below show some of the events. The file below was available during the day and includes a QR code for a short video of Sale prepared by students from the Manchester School of Architects.

At the AGM after the Sunday service on April 26th a presentation was made to our retiring Church Warden Yvonne. The photo below shows Yvonne receiving the gifts from Becky.

During our Easter Sunday service the Cross was decorated by the congregation with flowers, the Choir sang during the communion and at the end of the service the Easter Bunny was on hand to distribute chocolate eggs.
