Our Easter Sunday service was well attended and was led by a large choir. The cross at the altar steps was decorated by members of the congregation during the communion and at the end of the service a traditional visitor handed out Easter eggs. The photos below were taken during the service.

Holy Week Services
Thursday April 17th
We gather at 7.30pm for our Maunday Thursday service of Holy Communion with foot-washing.
There is the opportunity to stay in church for the vigil as we ‘watch and pray’ until 9.30pm.
You may wish to walk the Stations of the Cross using the booklet guide, or bring/borrow a book to read.
Don’t forget a torch as some areas of the church will be kept more dimly lit.
Friday April 18th

Saturday April 19th
Holy Saturday 8pm Easter Vigil with lighting of the new Paschal candle and renewal of baptismal vows
Sunday April 20th
Easter Sunday 10am Sung Holy Communion 6pm Evening Prayer (BCP)

Palm Sunday
Our Palm Sunday service began in the Church Hall and some of the congregation with the Choir processed to the garden and then ino the Church for the “Long Gospel”. The photos below were taken during the morning.

March 2025 Prayer Walk
It was good to take part in the parish prayer walk on Sunday after morning service. Led by Revd Lisa we stopped briefly at various points around Sale for a time of prayer through which we looked at lifting up our hearts and voices joyfully in response to creation and the blessings that we encountered.

Epiphany Service
On the first Sunday of the New Year about 30 people managed to get through the thick snow for our Epiphany service.
At the end of the service the Vicar blessed some pieces of chalk and then went outside to chalk the Epiphany Blessing, 20+C+M+B+25, on the Porch Door as shown in the photo below. The letters denote the initials of the Three Wise Men with 20 and 25 denoting the New Year.
