Men’s Society Bowls Evening

After a three year delay due to Covid the “annual” bowls evening finally got underway on Aug 18th at the Linden Club. We were joined by members of the Sale Rotary club and eighteen people attended.

A splendid supper had been provided by Carole and Jean (with Eric “timing” the cake). The forecast had been for rain throughout the evening but shortly after 6:30pm the rain cleared and we were able to both bowl and eat outside. The four semi-finalists were Brian, Garry, Eric and Barbara from the Rotary Club. Eventually Brian won the final against Barbara.

The slideshow below shows photos taken during the evening.
