A new heading has been added to the Church Website to add resources for discipleship – Church Life
The first of these is a prayer for Advent and can be found under the new heading on the top menu list.
At the November meeting of the Tuesday Group work began on preparing decorations for Christmas. The photos below were taken on the day.

As is usual St Paul’s played an active part in the annual service of Remembrance at the War Memorial outside the Sale Town Hall.
The Choirs of St Paul’s and St Joseph’s processed to the Cenotaph from the Church Hall and our Vicar Becky and Father Stephen presided over the service. Frank and Donald were also involved. The Slideshow below shows photos taken during the service.
Once again the Church porch and surrounding area have been decorated in honour of Armistice Day. We remember with gratitude all those who have served and those who continue to serve in The Armed Forces, and we offer humble thanks for the ultimate sacrifice given by all who laid down their lives in the service of our Country.
The slideshow below shows photos taken of the displays.
The Induction of our new Vicar, Becky, and the Permission to Officiate in the Diocese of Chester for Shemil, her husband, took place on Wednesday Nov 10th.
The service was conducted by the Bishop of Chester, Rt Revd Mark Tanner and in addition to the Induction, Becky was welcomed to Sale on behalf of a variety of organisations.
The photos below were taken during the service and include a family photo of Becky, Shemil and their two children.

At the Sunday morning service, the last before the induction of our new vicar, a special thank you was made to Revd. Dr. Margaret Jones who has been conducting many services for us at St Paul’s during the vacancy. The photo shows Margaret receiving a bouquet of flowers from Harry and Jean.

The photos below show the kneelers in position prior to the final cleaning before the Induction and one of the Church gateposts decorated for Remembrance Day.

Next Wednesday at 7pm St Paul’s will celebrate the Induction of Reverend Rebecca Mathew as our new vicar.
The service will also include the Permission to Officiate within our Diocese for Reverend Shemil Mathew, Rebecca’s husband.
We look forward to this new and exciting chapter in the life of St. Paul’s

We are hoping to decorate the ramp and porch with Christmas trees decorated with lights as we did last year. See photo below.

As the lights we used last year are nearing the end of their useful life we are hoping to obtain some new ones and would be grateful for any donations towards this from the congregation and friends.
Any donations can be left in Church in an envelope marked “Lights”.
Lets hope we can better last years display.
