On what would normally have been the annual Heritage Open Day at St Paul’s the COVID-19 restrictions meant the full event could not take place. However with good weather the Church was open with limited access and refreshments were served on the canal bank and in the Church grounds. The photos below were taken during the afternoon.

The poster below details a rather different Heritage Open Day to previous years.
Whilst we are unable to celebrate Heritage Open Day in the usual way, it will still go ahead with a difference.
The Church will be open for private prayer and to look around from 11am to 4pm. Whilst we will not this year have special exhibitions and displays, visitors will have the opportunity to appreciate the beauty of the Church, including the many fine, stained glass windows and memorials.
Some interesting old documents will be release on the Church facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/pg/stpaulssale/posts which can also be access via the Church website, https://stpaulsale.co.uk
Refreshments will be available outside from 1pm to 3pm

A history of St Paul’s Players has been added to the “Our Heritage” heading drop down menu and can be found at “St Pauls Players”.
