‘We support and are proud to work with Christians Against Poverty (CAP). We are one of eight local churches who have partnered together to help people experiencing financial difficulties back on their journey to debt freedom. Debt can occur through the lost of a loved one, lost of income or as little as an unexpected expense for a household who already struggles on the minimum wage. It can have dire consequences on families affecting mental health and contributing to the break down of marriages. As of May 2019 there will be a new Debt Centre opening in Sale which will offer life transforming help from an award winning charity. For more information, please speak to Barbara (our Vicar on 0161 973 1042) your church CAP representative. To find out more about CAP visit capuk.org or call 0800 328 0006.

Notre Dame Bell Ringing
“The Archbishops of Canterbury and York are today encouraging, where possible, all cathedrals and churches across England to toll a bell for 7 minutes at 7pm this Thursday, as a mark of solidarity following the devastating fire at Notre Dame Cathedral. This initiative has been suggested by the British Ambassador to France, Edward Llewellyn, and it is hoped that many will take part.”
St Paul’s will be joining in this bell ringing tonight April 18th.
