The annual Service of Nine Lessons and Carols took place on Dec 15th with a large Choir and orchestra leading the singing.

The Blessing of the Crib will make place on Dec 10th at 7pm outside Sale Town Hall. The choir of St. Joseph’s Primary School will be out in force to lead us in a few carols.  We should be delighted if you could join us for this short yet important event, light refreshments will be served inside the Town Hall, following the Blessing.

The Christmas tree has been erected in Church ready for the Toy Service on Dec 8th by members of the Men’s Society. The photos below show the tree and also the Men’s Society tree for one of the window alcoves.

The 900 bulbs presented to St Paul’s as part of the Purple for Polio campaign have now been planted as shown in the photos below.

Watch this space in Spring when  the results should be seen by all who come into the Church grounds from the canal bank.

After the 10:00am service at St Paul’s on Nov 10th the choir and congregation departed for the Cenotaph. The photos below were taken during the morning.
